At TIGHT SHIP LTD, customer satisfaction is important to us. Due to the nature of our products, including shipping containers, offshore containers, refrigerated containers, modular buildings, sanitary units, and scaffolding systems, returns are subject to the conditions outlined in this policy.
By placing an order with TIGHT SHIP LTD, you agree to the terms described below.
Order cancellation
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting our sales team as soon as possible.
If production, customization, preparation, or transportation arrangements have already started, cancellation fees may apply.
Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled.
Returns (30-day policy)
Customers have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
Returns are accepted under the following conditions:
- The product received is materially different from the product ordered
- The product is defective or has a manufacturing fault
- The product is damaged during transportation
- An incorrect product has been delivered
Returns must be requested in writing within the 30-day period.
Returns for change of mind or project-related changes may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the product type and condition.
Inspection upon delivery
Customers are required to inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.
Any visible damage, missing components, or discrepancies must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
Supporting photographs and details may be required to assess the claim.
Failure to report issues within this period may affect eligibility for return or refund.
Defective or damaged products
If a product arrives damaged or defective, TIGHT SHIP LTD will review the claim and may, at its discretion:
- Repair the product
- Replace the product
- Supply replacement parts
- Offer a partial refund
- Offer a full refund where appropriate
All claims are subject to verification.
Refund process (15 days)
Once a returned item has been received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 15 days.
Refunds are issued using the original payment method whenever possible.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or banking institution.
Customers will be informed once the refund has been approved and processed.
Non-returnable items
The following items are generally non-returnable unless faulty or incorrectly supplied:
- Custom-built or bespoke containers
- Modified or specially adapted units
- Custom modular buildings
- Custom sanitary units
- Scaffolding systems configured to customer specifications
- Special-order or made-to-order equipment
Transportation costs
Where a return is approved due to an error by TIGHT SHIP LTD or a verified defect, reasonable return transportation costs may be covered.
In all other cases, return shipping and handling costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
Used equipment
Used equipment is sold in inspected condition.
Customers acknowledge that used products may show signs of wear, cosmetic imperfections, or age-related characteristics consistent with prior use. These do not constitute defects unless explicitly stated otherwise.
