UK delivery
TIGHT SHIP LTD provides delivery services within the United Kingdom for containers, offshore containers, refrigerated containers, modular buildings, sanitary units, and scaffolding systems.
We do not currently offer international shipping.
Delivery coverage
We deliver across the United Kingdom, subject to local accessibility, transport feasibility, and applicable regulations.
Certain remote or difficult-access locations may require additional logistical arrangements, which will be assessed before order confirmation.
Order processing
Orders are processed after payment confirmation or agreed payment arrangements.
Once an order is confirmed, customers will receive order confirmation and delivery coordination details, including estimated delivery scheduling.
Delivery timeframe
The estimated delivery timeframe for most products is 5 to 8 business days from order confirmation, depending on:
- Product availability
- Delivery location within the UK
- Transport scheduling
- Site accessibility
- Weather conditions or force majeure events
Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address within the United Kingdom, product type, and transport requirements.
All delivery charges are clearly displayed before order completion and must be confirmed by the customer at checkout prior to payment.
In certain cases, a final confirmation of delivery charges may also be provided by email before dispatch.
Delivery requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- The delivery location is accessible for heavy transport vehicles
- Adequate unloading equipment is available where required
- All necessary permits or authorisations are obtained before delivery
- A representative is present to receive and inspect the goods upon delivery
Additional charges may apply if delivery cannot be completed due to site access restrictions or incorrect information provided by the customer.
Delays beyond our control
TIGHT SHIP LTD is not responsible for delays caused by events outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Transport disruptions
- Port or logistics congestion
- Severe weather conditions
- Industrial action or strikes
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters
Order coordination and changes
Once delivery has been scheduled, any changes requested by the customer may result in additional costs and/or delays.
